CONCENTRATED INTENSIVES

What is it?

A concentrated intensive is a focused, in-person mental health experience designed to create meaningful change in a condensed timeframe. Unlike traditional weekly, 50 minute sessions, intensive involved extended blocks of time dedicated entirely to deep work. This allows clients to move beyond surface-level exploration and into the kind of transformative breakthroughs that shorter sessions rarely reach. This immersive format removes the interruptions of everyday life, creating the ideal conditions for rapid progress, lasting insight, and profound personal growth.

What are the benefits?

Focused on a single goal

Increased emotional safety

Rapid breakthroughs

Results in a shorter period of time vs. weekly sessions over months

Can be more cost effective than long term work

Who is it right for?

Here are the people who tend to benefit most:

Those who feel "stuck" — clients who have been in traditional therapy for a while but feel like they're plateauing or not moving forward fast enough.

People facing a specific issue or life transition — grief, trauma, relationship breakdown, burnout, major life decisions, or identity shifts that need focused attention.

Trauma survivors — those working through PTSD or complex trauma who need sustained, uninterrupted time to process safely without stopping mid-session.

High-functioning individuals with limited time — busy professionals or executives who can't commit to weekly sessions but can carve out 1–3 dedicated days for deep work.

Those preparing for or integrating a major life change — a divorce, career pivot, loss, or new chapter that requires intentional inner work.

People who have tried traditional therapy and want more — clients who are motivated, self-aware, and ready to go deeper than a 50-minute hour allows.

Generally, good candidates share these traits:

  • High motivation and readiness for change
  • Ability to tolerate emotional intensity
  • A specific goal or area of focus
  • Stable enough to engage in deep work (not in acute crisis)

Does insurance cover it?

Insurance may cover the first hour of the intensive, but will not cover additional time. Because this work is tailored entirely to you — your pace, your goal, your breakthrough — the additional time is offered as a cash-pay service, an investment in yourself that can achieve in days what traditional, insurance-based models may take years to reach.
